DAY 01: ARRIVE PANAMA CITY
Arrive Panama city, complete customs & immigrations. Private transfer to Hotel and check in. Dinner at hotel

Proceed for full day Panama city tour…with stop for lunch (local) After being picked up at your hotel, you will ride in comfort through the sites of the modern capital city on your way to the Colonial City or "Casco Antiguo." Built in 1673 this neighborhood is home to amazing old world Spanish architecture. Experience the history and heritage of Panama City as you pass through Plaza Francia, Las Bovedas, San Jose Church, with its wonderful gold altar, the Flat Arch, and Cathedral Church. It is here that the French workers, lead by Ferdinand de Lesseps, initiated the Panama Canal project of the Panama Canal and you will notice that the surrounding homes are built in a French style of architecture.
Afterwards, you will make a visit to the ruins of Old Panama City, which were destroyed by pirate Henry Morgan in 1671. The Panama Canal Interoceanic Museum is located here as well as the Palacio de las Garzas, the official office of the Panamanian president. You will then ride through the enchanted Balboa area and admire the Panama Canal Administration Building on a hill before heading to the Miraflores Locks.
Here you will have the chance to see huge shipping vessels transiting through the locks of the Panama Canal. Our tour includes a visit to the new Visitor's Center to see canal memorabilia and watch an informative video about the construction of the canal. Finally, you will be taken to the Amador Causeway, a chain of three islands that offers incredible views of the city. You will also have time to purchase handicrafts and electronics from the Duty Free store. Transportation is provided back to your hotel in the afternoon.

Proceed for Full Canal Transit with lunch. Transit through the entire Panama Canal.The ferry boat will pass through the Miraflores Locks, Pedro Miguel Locks and Gatun Locks.
The ship will rise 56 feet above sea level at the Miraflores Locks and then 26 feet more at the Pedro Miguel Locks. You then will transit Gaillard Cut where you will be able to observe the Gamboa Community, the Centennial Bridge and the Bridge of the Americas. After transiting the whole Panama Canal, you will arrive at the port of Colon 2000, located in the city of Colon. Return to hotel by bus.

Enjoy an evening at an authentic Panama City folkloric show, which features local dancers and acoustic music. Marvel at the intricately decorated "polleras," long skirts worn by the women as they dance the night away. This folkloric show and dinner provides you with an enriched cultural experience and a fun night out!
DAY 05: PANAMA CITY – MEXICO CITY
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to airport for your flight to Mexico city
Upon arrival, clear customs & immigrations and transfer to hotel and check in. Indian dinner

This morning, visit Mexico’s grandest archaeological site, Teotihuacán, built by the Nahua. The sixth largest city in the world in 400 A.D., Teotihuacán was mysteriously abandoned 300 years later, centuries before the Aztec occupation. Visit the Jaguar Palace and the Temple of the Plumed Conch Shells. See the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Walk the Avenue of the Dead, flanked by temples and palaces. Also visit the Guadalupe shrine
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Back to Mexico City. Indian dinner

Proceed for day trip to Cuernavaca & Taxco with lunch
A day trip to the city of eternal spring, Cuernavaca, visiting the Cathedral, continuing to the silver town of Taxco, with its cobblestoned streets and atmosphere of long ago. Visit churrigueresque style Santa Prisca church and browse through the countless silver shops, returning to Mexico City in the late afternoon or early evening. Lunch will be at local restaurant. Return to Mexico city. Indian dinner

Proceed for city tour of Mexico with visit to the Anthropology Museum…
You'll visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, which is the largest church in all of Latin America, housing many art treasures of the colonial period. This landmark took over 250 years to build, evident in its various architectural styles.
Next, become a part of a vast cultural and recreational attraction known as Chapultepec area. This 2,100 acre (8,500 sq. km) area contains five museums, two tranquil lakes, a zoo, an amusement park with one of the world's largest roller coasters, a relaxing botanical garden and many quiet walkways.
You'll also visit the National Palace, one of the oldest government seats in the world, which still houses the President's Office and the Ministry of Finance. Become a part of history when you walk through this 1693 palace while observing the Diego Rivera murals that blazon the inner hallways of the building.
Lastly, learn about Mexico's 30 centuries of human evolution when you visit the Anthropological Museum, which is the finest archaeological museum in the world. Here, you'll have the chance to see thousands of artifacts, including burial tombs, giant Olmec stone heads, the famous Aztec Calendar Stone and a reconstructed Mayan temple.
DAY 09: MEXICO CITY – PUEBLA – VERACRUZ
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to Puebla…the UNESCO world heritage site
Upon arrival you will see that majority of its buildings are decorated with tiles and beautifully sculpted freestone. You'll also visit the majestic Church of Santo Domingo, a huge central square cathedral with pink stone and wall tezontle.
You'll also visit the Chapel of the Rosary, which is considered the eighth wonder of the art world. From the Chapel of the Rosary, you'll discover the Convent of Santa Monica which now houses the Museum of Religious Art.
Local lunch and continue to Veracruz. Check into hotel. Local dinner
DAY 10: VERACRUZ – VILLA HERMOSA – PALENQUE
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to Palenque via Parque la Venta
Arrive and see the giant Olmec heads up to twelve feet tall. The Olmecs were the first civilization in Mexico, and believed to be descendants of Africans. Local lunch. Continue to Palenque and check into hotel. Local dinner
DAY 11: PALENQUE – CAMPECHE
Breakfast at the hotel….Check out and proceed for tour of Palenque
Visit the archeological site of Palenque… Explore the ruins of ancient buildings, spread out over 9 miles (15 km). Visit a burial monument, the Temple of Inscriptions, which rises in front of the jungle surrounding Palenque. Then continue towards Campeche. Lunch enroute. Arrive and check into hotel. Local Dinner
DAY 12: CAMPECHE – UXMAL - MERIDA
After breakfast, explore the peaceful town of Campeche. Once a Mayan trading village, Campeche is full of rich history and beautiful sculpted buildings. See its cathedral, fortresses, mansions and plazas.
Next, depart for Uxmal, one of the top Maya archaeological sites. At the site, visit the Fortune Teller Pyramid, the Nun's Square and the Governor's Palace. Lunch enroute
Then depart for the cultural and artistic city of Mérida. You'll visit Plaza Grande, the city's main center. Stay overnight here. Dinner
DAY 13: MERIDA – CHICHEN ITZA – CANCUN
Early breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to Chichen Itza, home to some of the most famous and well- restored Mayan ruins on the Yucatan Peninsula. You'll see the Jaguars' Temple, the great ball court, the Sacred Cenote and more
Note: Since today is the day of Equinox at Chichen Itza is a very crowded event and a special logistic is developed on the site for that day, so the arrival shall be in the early morning to enter, look for accomodation, and remain there until the event occurs. The Agency is not able to guarantee the result of this visit.
After lunch, continue to Cancun and check into hotel. Dinner at hotel
DAY 14: CANCUN – MEXICO CITY – CHIHUAHUA
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to airport for your flight to Chihuahua via Mexico city Arrive and proceed to hotel and check in. Dinner
DAY 15:CHIHUAHUA – DIVISADERO (COPPER CANYON)
Early breakfast. Check out and proceed to train station for the start of your Scenic Copper Canyon train ride to Divisadero… The entire railroad passes through 86 tunnels and 38 bridges in the 25,000 square mile canyons of the Sierra Madre. The five major canyons are collectively known as Copper Canyon. Journey through scenic routes… Your scheduled arrival is late afternoon at your hotel on the rim of Copper Canyon
Arrive Divisadero and transfer to hotel and check in. Dinner at hotel
DAY 15: DIVISADERO – CHIHUAHUA (COPPER CANYON)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to station for the 2nd leg of your scenic Copper Canyon excursion
Arrive Chihuahua and transfer to Hotel. Dinner at hotel
DAY 16: CHIHUAHUA – MEXICO CITY – INDIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to airport for your flight to Mexico City. Arrive and wait for your connecting flight to India
