DAY 1: ARRIVE – PHNOM PENH
Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh International airport you will welcomed by tour guide then transfer to hotel check in. Standard check after 1400 hrs … Local restaurant for lunch. Afternoon, visit Royal Place, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, Raung Damrei Museum. The Palace building and Silver Pagoda are located with in the same walled ground. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilos and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. And then move to National Museum of Fine Arts, next to the Royal Palace was dedicated by king Sisowath in 1920. Over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas and other artifacts, most notabley the legentary statue of the “Leper King” Though the emphasis is on Angkorian artifacts, there is also a good collection of pieces from later periods, including a special exhibition pf post-Angkorian Buddha figures. Then visit Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legendary founding place of the Phnom Penh.
Dinner will be at local restaurant & overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
DAY 2: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP BY OVERLAND
Breakfast will be at hotel. Check out and visit Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum. In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot’s security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). It soon became the largest such center of detention and torture in the country. More than 17.000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeung Ek to be executed; detainees who died during torture were buried in mass graves in the prison ground. The museum displays include room after room of these photographs of men, women and children covering the walls from floor to ceiling; virtually all the people pictured were later killed. Continue to visit Killing Field of Cheung Ek is situated 15 kilometers south-west of Phnom Penh and made famous by the film of the same name "Killing Field". it was a place where more than 17,000 civilians were killed and buried in mass graves; many of them transported here after detention and torture in Toul leng. This place is a chilling reminder of the brutalities of the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime. In the center of the area is a 17 story glass stupa which houses 8000 skullsexhumed from mass graves. Lunch at local restaurant. Then transfer to Siem Reap by overland ( around 6 hour with 314km ). Arriver Siem Reap transfer Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Breakfast will be at hotel. visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk) the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century) and visit Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), Baphun temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King and visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees. Drive to a local restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the 7th world heritage, “Angkor Wat” a unique and stunning blend of spirituality and symmetry, an enduring example of man's devotion to his Gods. It is the largest and undoubtedly the most breath taking of the monuments of Angkor and it is widely believed that it is the largest religious structure in the world until sunset. Dinner will be at local restaurant.
DAY 4: SIEM REAP – HO CHI MINH
Breakfast will be at hotel. Check out of the hotel and visit the Banteay Srei, the beautiful ‘Women’s Citadel’. Located 37 kms. From Siem Reap town, this was Cambodia's last major Khmer temple to be re-discovered. This temple has the best engravings among all the ruins and was used in the film ‘Lara Croft Tomb Raider’. then move to Banteay Samre built in the third quarter of the 12th century. Lunch will be at local restaurant. Afternoon we excursion to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current. Then transfer to airport for departure flight
Upon arrival Ho Chi Minh – Vietnam, you are warmest welcome “XIN CHAO” at Tan Son Nhat International Airport by our Guide, then transfer to the city for hotel check in. Having welcomed dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 5: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA
We welcome other new day right in Vietnam – a country you love – with buffet breakfast at your hotel then we transfer to Mekong Delta – bowl of rice of Vietnam. Today, we visit My Tho located on the northern banks of Mekong River and is the closest town in the Delta to Ho Chi Minh. After two hours of driving, we visit Snake farm on the way to My Tho. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise around islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop en route to visit a bee farm, sip special tea with honey and sample fruits with a local family and share their stories of life in the Mekong Delta. Visit a small coconut workshop, just to get a glimpse of typical family run business in this area. Walk to a lane where a horse-drawn cart awaits you to transfer to visit handicraft village, a coconut candy factory, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music and then relax with rowing boat through the narrow under shade palm, tree-lined canals of Mekong River before returning to My Tho by motorized boat. We have fresh lunch with Mekong specialties in the garden restaurant in My Tho.
After lunch, we visit Vinh Trang Pagoda before heading back to Saigon. Dinner is served at local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 6: HO CHI MINH CITY – HA NOI
Breakfast at hotel. Check out the hotel and Start a half of day Saigon City Tour with Sai Gon Post Office, North Dome Cathedral to study about the French colonial style, then we walk to the Reunification Palace (Vietnamese: Dinh Thống Nhất) formerly known as Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập), built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, is a landmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It was designed by architect Ngô Viết Thụ and was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during Vietnamese war. It was the site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, when a North Vietnamese Army tank crashed through its gates. Free time for shopping at China town, Ben Thanh market. Lunch at restaurant.
Free time for shopping. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure flight to Ha Noi ….Welcome & pick up at Noi Bai airport, transfer to hotel for check in. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 7 : HANOI – HALONG BAY
Breakfast in hotel, check out and Sightseeing tour features both cultural and historical highlights, comprising Ba Dinh Square , Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts , and One-Pillar Pagoda , Tran quoc pagoda, Westlake, Temple of literature. Lunch at restaurant, then depart to Halong Bay. Arrive Ha Long, check in hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Ha Long.
DAY 8: HALONG BAY – HANOI
After breakfast, Board a boat for a cruise in Halong Bay, a world heritage site recognised by UNESCO in 1994. Explore Dau Go Cave, Thien Cung Grotto, round over Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island.. Lunch of fresh seafood is served on board. Return to Hanoi with stop-overs at ceramic and hand embroidery workshops en route.
Arrive Hanoi. Enjoy Water Puppet Show, a theatrical genre reflecting the agricultural civilisation of thousands of years ago.. Dinner at Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 9: HANOI CITY – LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, Ha Noi city tour with Thay & Tay Phuong Pagoda & Van Phuc silk village.
Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure flight to Luang prabang. Transfer to the hotel Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to relax and dinner at local restaurant ..Overnight in Luang Prabang
DAY 10: LUANG PRABANG – VIENTIANE by flight
Today, we embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we disembark the boat to visit traditional villages, and continue taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving. Return to the city for lunch (Indian food if necessary)
After lunch, your half day city tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. We then head to the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We also have time to visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. You then transfer to the airport for a short flight to Vientiane, upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant
Today, we see the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to Lao’s national icon, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop enroute to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. In the afternoon we transfer out to see Buddha Park, an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, close to the Friendship Bridge. There are approximately 200 religious images dating back over 500 years, which were created by a mysterious monk spreading his philosophy on life and revealing his ideas about the universe. A spectacular view of over the Mekong River at sunset is a perfect way to finish the day. Overnight in Vientiane
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and Morning tour of Vientiane (National Museum, Si Muang Temğle, Talat Sao local Market and Talat Khuadin). Then transfer to airport.
